What's new in the Community Media Lab

Some interesting new blogs have recently joined our Community Media Lab, with more in the works.

Just today, The Chronicles of Sam made its debut. It tells the stories of "Sam" and other youngsters in the 5th grade classroom of Michelle Mason Cagle. The author is a 1985 Lorain High School grad who now lives and teaches in Oklahoma and still has lots of Lorain ties. The stories in her blog are heartfelt, and you just have to read for yourself to see what I mean.

Another recent blog is Brady's Bunch of Lorain County Nostalgia by Dan Brady of Sheffield Lake. It's a warm look back in local history as told in old ads, postcards, photos, places and other reminiscences. It's fun, informative, instructive and entertaining.

Politics Are Personal, by Suzan Smith brings the impact of political doings at all levels right down to the ground where we live and work each day.

The Community Media Lab offers lots more, take a look.

And if you would like to become a blogger in the Community Media Lab, we can get you all set up and started. Just contact me at tskoch@morningjournal.com about your blog idea.

Established bloggers are welcome to join too and have their local blogs showcased on the Community Media Lab page at www.MorningJournal.com.
